Changelog 8/1/24

Just a few bug fixes and corrections based on user feedback in light of the recent chapter release. Beware of spoilers!

Typos and pronoun errors fixed:

• CH11: "askonce"
• CH11: D's pronoun unnecessarily capitalized ("Unexpectedly, [They] acted without your knowledge..."]
• CH11, X route: Missing period at the end of a sentence ("R tries to assist you")
• CH11, X route: Wrong pronoun use ("forgotten about [him/her]", should be 'them')
• CH11, D route: Unnecessary period at the end of a sentence ("...to try to deprive you of an ally..")
• CH11: Minister Lerzan's name misspelled as Lorzan
• CH11: A's pronoun accidentally used in place of R's ("[R] looks to [A] to continue, who meets [A's pronoun] eyes...")
• CH11: "transcribed it for [her]", should be 'him'
• CH9: "[A] insisted on checking security in [there] rest of the city..."
• CH7: "...who has notable laugh lines around her mouth and [and]..."
• CH3: "suprise"

Coding fixed:

• CH1: A mishap where I accidentally swapped some appearance coding around: the option for giving your Crown "short locs" would be registered as "long locs" by the game and vice versa.
• CH11, D route: An if-clause error on D's route stating "punishment is not defined"
• CH11, X route: A continuity error for X's low romance route where they and the Crown are mistakenly described as having been holding hands in the prior scene
• CH11, R and A's routes: A child tag error regarding an unnecessary <</if>> added to coding after the Crown asks to talk in private

Other:

• The options for "Save to Disk/Load from Disk" have been changed to "Save to Files/Load from Files" for clarity's sake.
• If your Crown did not pick any of the flirtatious/reserved romantic options with the other love interests and set your Crown's preference before choosing to stay with D in CH3, the game would default to your Crown having the flirtatious character trait. I've added a neutral variation for that scene where the Crown doesn't act particularly reserved or flirtatious to balance it out.
